Hello Marvin,
I purchased a self-propelled Craftsman lawn mower online on March 31st as your website advertised free home delivery. My order number is SO-0000678909.
On April 1st, I received a call from Lowes store in South Brampton asking me to pick the item from store as she said it was too heavy to be shipped. I asked the rep to ship the item by truck and in turn was advised to pay $79.99 as truck delivery charges.
Gentleman, this is unacceptable. You advertise free shipping and then ask me to come and pick up in person. I am a senior citizen with history of high blood pressure and can not risk my life to covid-19 by going out.
I have been a loyal Lowes customer since 2010 having purchased a washer & dryer for my Mississauga condo and a stove and countless garden and lighting equipment for my Brampton home.
I expected Lowes to maintain their high level of customer care and keep their promise of free delivery. However, my belief was belied when the store rep again called on April 2nd and demanded $80 for sending the item.
I was forced to cancel the order as I , being a retired person, am not in position to spend more money.
My confidence in Lowes customer service has been totally shattered. I will never buy any Lowes product going forward and ask all my friends and relatives in Indian community to avoid Lowes.
Thank you for nothing.
