Dear Mr Jeff Gennette,
I purchased a Henredon chair Item #A6205 from Macys a few years ago. The finish on the arms is wearing off. The chair is an expensive piece of furniture which is $2,000 plus. I started calling Macys at Old Orchard, IL., in January to see if I could have the wood refinished and talked to a gentleman who said he would look into it and get back to me. I did not get his name, which is my fault, and have tried calling Macys Old Orchard and no one is returning my calls. I realize the store has been closed but as I mentioned this started in January and no responses. This is terrible customer service and then we wonder why stores are closing. I have heard from several people that the service at Old Orchard has gone down terribly and now I understand. I have a very bad taste for Macys myself at this time. I feel Macys should do something about my chair. I appreciate your help considering no responses from Old Orchard. Thanks, Sheila Pomagier, 847-692-2034
