John Whitehouse sent a message to Lee Tillman that said:
Mr Tillman.
Please disregard my contact from yesterday. I do apologies for any inconvenience. I've just checked my old fidelity account and realise that I actually still have some stock, albeit a lot less than originally held because most was unvested.
Times are hard and I appreciate that this means for many, not just my family and I.
Hopefully, your stock price will recover to pre pandemic levels soon.
In my heart, I will always have a place for the Marathon Oil corporation. The greatest employer I've had the privilege of working for. Its such a shame that times change> I do understand the need for you to exit the UK but id did have a significantly negative impact on me personally.
Such is. I do try and reflect on all the good years and even though we had the financial loss, overall, I have nothing but pride to have worked and contributed to Marathon's success over many years.
I won't contact you again Mr Tillman. Take care and good luck with your steerage of a fabulous ship.
regards,
John Whitehouse
