Marco, I doubt if you will actually receive this message, but I am sending it – Marco Zappacosta email address

Thomas sent a message to Marco Zappacosta- co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Thumbtack- email address that said:

Marco,
I doubt if you will actually receive this message, but I am sending it anyway. I have been a member for over two years. I have to face it, without your company me business would not have made it to the level it is at right now.
However, there are changes that limit my income. I understand that it is always a way to improve your products but some of the changes are limited how I have to bid to win a client. Where you request for their budget and the first thing you ask is lower than $300, you set in the mind of the customer that they can get it for $300. Then when you specify to be specific, clients think they can get my services for four hours for only $150. I can understand saving money but we deserve to make what we are worth.

The photo booth customers dont realize the work that goes into it.
First designing the artwork about 30 minutes.
Loading into your vehicle about 20 minutes
Setting up the equipment about 30 - 45 minutes
Driving to and from an event 2 hours or more

Then you have he event itself 2-5 hours
Tear down 20 minutes
Unloading when you get home
Basically, what is a 3-4 hours event may easily turn out to be a 7-8 hour day. By setting a minimum price into what the clients enter in limits my income. Is there a way to remove that feature from Photo Booth requests.

I'm open to conversation through a phone call. I can be reached

Sincerely,
Thomas
