Nancy Susnis sent a message to Arne Sorenson that said:
My husband and I recently spent several nights at the Springhill Suites in Salt Lake City, Utah. While the room was spacious and comfortable and in walking distance to the wedding, the room was not cleaned sufficiently. The garbage had not been emptied and the drawers to the dresser would not stay closed. Secondly, the lobby was not kept up either. There was dust on the shelving in lobby. Also the desk staff members wore gloves, however when they took our dirty towels and gave us new ones, they did not change gloves before handling new linen. They did not change from the gloves they were using at the front desk. I reported the garbage to the front desk and also emailed the facility manager but I received no reply. With such few guests coming into your facilities, I would think the entire building would be squeaky clean. If this is any indication of how your cleanliness policy works, I would hesitate to stay at one of your hotels in the future.
