One of your managers (Joe Rink) had seen me at the Springfeild Mo. store and thought I was very professional. He kept my name he said hanging up in the office, that was in June and by July I received a call.

I have a degree and all these business classes!!!!!!
I have a great work record 8 years as a Inspector and 8 years at Pricecutter, leaving a manager.
I was looking for a new part time job. He assured me part time would be great.
I arrived 30 minutes early for the interview and had the most horrible experience and thought after observing the next few months of the store while shopping I should give you the "heads up." No wonder no Ceo is lasting!!!!!!
I was informed by a girl wearing a faded t-shirt and jeans with a thin strap flip flop I was not to come to the interview till the exact time. Her name is Annette and she is in charge of hiring. She said go shopping and not to come back till the exact time!!!! Do we tell people that do not have jobs to go shopping????
My first interview question was if you could be any villain which one would it be and why???
Their was no professional questions.
No what I could do for the company.
Sating in the interview ...all 15 people were under 20 that had been picked for a possible candidate for a job!!!! Except me. I was the only one who was 42. Everyone that tried was not hired.
The three that were hired. Did not participate in the games they gave us or have anything to say. They are gone now. I was shopping and seen two of them.
Zach the first hire told me he got on cause he knew the "Bobbits" and I did see Annette swoon with mention of this.
He said he was quitting cause he could not get more then 15 hours and they just kept on hiring!!!!
I had put I would work any hours and any days !!!!!
He said they did not want to hire anybody they thought would stay and get experience or have a degree he said the manager (Annette and others were scared people would get their jobs!!!!
Is it job security to hire uneducated people with a look of a freak show as even more job security???
The other hire said he was just brought in to set the school stuff and knew they were hiring more.
I observed the manager over the entire Woman department does not dress professional (ever) and is covered in tattoos over his entire body. Annette said during the interview that if you have tats you have to "Own Them". I thought maybe they just wanted boys in the boy section but then I seen a Tranny Girl that maybe was 18. So I figured that if they would hire a cross dresser that perhaps it\'s ok to work in the boy section so why would they not hire someone educated???? The manager with the tattoos over the women section informed me when I seen him in the shoe section today while shopping that education does not matter. Ok well thanks for showing a good example to our youth, Even the young girl behind the purse counter today was hired with a nose ring with big metal balls hanging under it. Is this the kind of people you want picking your workers ???? The whole big plan is to not let people stay over a month.
The big plan is to say after you (after everyone) buys all their new outfits to wear to work and their ties that they have "observed you" and you didn\'t make it sorry...(yeah job security) even the man in Lens Crafters down the hall in the Mall said he had a B.s. in management and had worked with Jcpenny with no problem till he moved and went to another state and could never get back on at the Springfeild store. Even though he said they liked him at the other store he was at for several years. He now sells glasses. I would still like to work for this company. I care about your home store sells and can push you up. I was the number one seller (out of 48 stores) in floral in 2009. I left at the end of 2010 peacefully. I also have perfume counter experience.
Marvin, Never be more good then wise and you need to buckle down on your managers and realize what they are actually representing for the company!!! A revolving door??? Or a perfect glass door that has a reputation of treating people well instead of rolling all your friends and family in for a week or two to work and then rolls them out again for one hiring managers big salary.
