Mary Robinson sent a message to Marvin Ellison that said:
Dear Mr. Marvin Ellison
I am writing this email because I am fed up and very irritated with JC Penney, I ordered a pair of pants and 3 tops online, I received an automated call that my orders were ready, after the long drive to pick them up, I was told by the lady at the order desk I had no items to pick up. She showed me the screen and it had no recent orders. I tried call JC Penney in Culver city for 15 minutes, NO ONE PICKED UP. Called customer service and spoke with Sandy, who told me to go back over there and if I still had a problem to have them call them, was told that if they did not answer for me, they would not answer for her because they were busy and did not pick up on Saturdays. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I called back and finally got a person who looked in the system and my orders were there but she could only find 1 of the 2 and again told me to come all the way back, maybe it was not in the bin yet. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD AN ACCOUNT FOR MANY, MANY YEARS. I DO NOT FEEL LIKE A VALUED CUSTOMER. I AM CONSIDERING PAYING OFF THIS ACCOUNT AND CANCELLING IT. THE LAST FEW ORDERS I MADE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM.
I should not have to go back and forth to the store to get my items when they tell me they are ready and I am not happy with customer service.
