Dear Akio Toyoda
It seems to me that Prius C is either a defective unit or totally the design is defective. The sign keep coming back:
I am sick of this warning sign. I have taken my car couple of time to the closest dealer: Auto Nation in Irvine, CA
After my few visits they were able to fix it saying that there has been lot of derbies on fan and the fan is not working properly and thus the cooling is being effected.
It again popped up last Friday and again I have to take it to them. It’s the same thing again lots of dust on the fan and they asked me to pay $90.00 approx. to clean it. I went inside to see it and was surprised to discover the reasons given by my service adviser Reza and the technician that the back seat is not for passengers. As passengers sit in the back seat, fan sucks their clothes and results in debris on fan finally resulting the cooling performance.
My conclusion is either the unit is defective or the design is totally failure. I did not knew before buying that this car is good just for the front side. Please look into the matter ASAP as my car is still in the dealer place and I am on loaner.
I have also enclosed the copy of the sale contract when I bought it last year.
