Mr. Akio Toyoda,

After an amazing career with Toyota that started in the early 1980s that brought not only the means to take care of my family financially but been able to work in a brand that I was very proud of, after completing all my schooling and becoming a Master Diagnostics Specialist not only with Toyota but also with Lexus, maintaining all my ASEs Master status and after achieving a comfortable living due to all the knowledge that acquire thru the years of hard work and study to became the best technician possible Im sadden to said that in the close sunset of my career at the age of 63 years old and still very able to perform accordingly to the duties of my job and due to what I consider to be big problem in the Toyota/Lexus world I was let go from a job that I performed flawlessly all my life due to the greed that exist in the franchises, that never the less carry the brand name Toyota . At an age where I should be looking back to an incredible career and looking forward to a retirement the only thing I can do at this time is to look at the way business is conducted by replacing good season able and experienced technicians like myself by young part time inexperienced so called techs that leave oil drain plugs and loose wheels jeopardizing the lives and the product of customers that I took care of my life. A section of the Lexus covenant that I believe is the core of what Toyota is all about says Lexus will treat each customer as we would a guest in our home My question to you sir is how can abide by that part of a covenant when you cant take care of your own employees in the same matter, to me and I say this with all respect is hypocritical and disrespectful. At the age of 63 years old the only thing that I have to look forward is another job and start all over again, because the brand that I was always very much interested in is not interested in me anymore. With all respect to you and your family.

Julio Luza.
