Mr. Akio Toyoda,
I just read your interview on Automotive News (http://www.autonews.com/article/20170521/OEM02/305229970/akio-toyoda%3A-master-driver-late-bloomer) and it is really impressive. I am glad to know that Toyota is being run by a racer; someone who enjoys sitting behind a wheel and driving. Congrats on heading such a successfully company and wish you the best.
I know you that are a busy man so I will not take much of your time. I come from a middle class family that has always invested in long lasting and reliable toyota cars. My dad owns a Etios(in India), my sister owns a Corolla(in US), both my brothers own a Camry(in US).
I love the Toyota Camry. Whenever someone asked me to name a car I would love to have one day if I could afford it, I said The Camry. My desire is to have Camry be the first car I ever buy. I have been saving up for it so eventually I can buy it one day without having to take a loan.
Unfortunately, I have just lost my job and a car(a gift from a family member that started havng mechanical). Not having a car makes it very diffcult to attends interviews for my next job. So now I find myself at a place where I need to purchase my first car. But my savings are not enough to buy the car without a loan. I have been able to arrange for a loan but it would still not cover the price of the outgoing 2017 Camry in the US including the manufacturer rebate.
I am writing to see if it is possible for Toyota to provide any additional discount/incentives/rebates on the 2017 Camry so that it maybe possible for me to purchase my first Camry.
Thank you for your time and appreciate your help!
Sandeep.
