I have already send y message at Akio.toyoda@toyota.co.jp
on Mon, Oct 2, 2017 at 1:18 PM but did not received any reply. I belong to Asia->Pakistan region. I have a query/question/concern/anxiety about Toyota Corolla and want to bring my voice towards you.
Before coming on my problem/issue I would like to make under your kind notice that I have discussed this issue with my local country officials but all in vain.
I strongly believe since your companys foundation, Toyota has been using its guiding principles to produce reliable vehicles worldwide and sustainable development of society by employing innovative and high quality products and services worldwide.
I booked a car Toyota Corolla XLI 17 8B MT 1299 CC and got the PBO number on May 02, 2017. At the time of booking company informed me that I have booked new model and its delivery is expecting in Aug-2017. As per my PBO form my tentative delivery month was August 2017 and total vehicle price of new model including freight charges was PKR 1,752,000/-
At the end of August I got intimation from company that my vehicle is ready for delivery but I have to pay some additional money amounting to PKR 30,000/- before delivery of new model vehicle. I really cant understand that why this amount is required from me. Well since I am in a fix after having already paid almost all of amount; I also manage extra/additional amount of 30,000/- as required after taking loan from my friend and paid to company in the start of September 2017.
Finally I got the vehicle as on 22nd September 2017. At the time of delivery I was extremely shocked to see that my so called new model vehicle is only new-fangled from front side having newly shaped model lights and as far as back side is concern it is completely similarly to the previous model vehicles. Same backlights …..
Despite unavailability of most of the features available in XLI variant as compared to XLI variants available in all other countries I have a serious concern which should also be noticed. I totally believe and understand that due to fewer prices than other variants of Corolla this variant lacks some of internal features as ABS brakes, Power doors, Power mirrors etc..., which merely deals in internal/interior of vehicle. But I was totally ignorant and disheartened to see old shaped backside lights of my newly acclaimed model.
You are requested to please look into it and provide your cogent feedback since I believe and it is common practice that “if we hear model of vehicle is going to change than despite of changing internal features; all variants should be commonly same mainly specially in terms of shape of body and lights design etc.... since theses appearances/exterior changes mainly maters”.
