Mr Carmichael::
My name is Mark my wife and I recently closed on our house located in West Chester Oh. We had a line of equity and this was closed with the sale of the house. I have had this loan for 31 months and we noticed that there was a prepayment penalty for $300.
I am extremely upset that in this day and age that you still have a prepayment clause in your line of equity loans. I had looked for a bank that treats its customers fairly and has locations in multiple states and I thought that Fifththird was the right bank for us.
This $300 charge has me looking for an alternate for our banking needs.
I would like you to reconsider these charges.
