Mr. Corbat, I am a card holder with Citibank and have been with Sears for years – Michael Corbat email address

Donelle sent a message to Michael L. Corbat CEO, Citigroup Inc. that said:

Mr. Corbat:
I am a card holder with Citibank and have been with Sears for years. Just recently I have lost my job so I took the initiative to call and ask to have my account close and possible lower my APR so that I might pay off my debt. I have tried 10 times with your Customer Service and they refuse to close my account and get me to the Credit Department. They tell me I had to miss 2 months payments or more to show hardship. I did not and do not want to do this, that is not the kind of person I am. Now I find out I have been turned into collections. I am escalating this directly to you because I have never been treated so poorly. I worked 13 years in development and customer service and know how important clients are especially the client that wants to pay their bills. I know you don't have time for something so minimal but I no longer know who to turn to. Thank you for your time and look forward to your response. Donelle
