On Saturday run a 30 minute timed qualifying session followed by a 30 minute sprint race the results of which determine the starting positions for Sundays main race.
This will............
1. Attract a larger viewing audience on Saturday thus generating revenue.
2. Flip the season on its head thus making the whole F1 weekend more exciting.
I am only a builder from St Helens, Merseyside but I can assure you that this would probable suit the teams and your audience?
