Cheryl sent a message to Marvin R. Ellison – President of J. C. Penney Company Inc.- email address that said:
Mr. Ellison: I have researched some of your comments online and you state that you feel the J.C. Penney is "on the rebound." I have not shopped at Penney's in years and it used to be my "go to" store. You also stated that Penney's lost its way in 2011, but it actually was much sooner. You say the question is "how do we grow"?
Penney's was making quality merchandise then just quit. A number of years ago, I was purchasing quality fleece tops and bottoms for men and boys called "USA Olympic Brand Apparel" but no more.
Another great quality and value was the "Cabin Creek" brand. I and hundreds and hundreds of ladies purchased a pull-on twill pant that had weight and quality but that was phased out. Read all the comments online from hundreds of shoppers under "What happened to Cabin Creek by Penneys". No longer can we find a quality pant at a reasonable price.
These are only two of many ways you could bring so many hundreds and hundreds of shoppers back to a store or buy online. Hope you read this and do some research and check with you buyers as to what happened. You have buyers waiting for Penneys to go back to supplying quality merchandise that we once counted on.
