Chris sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
Mr.Fields I am a very big fan of ford motors products and have been very satisfied with all my cars and SUVs in the past . I work @(Bruce's Rods and customs) unfortunately at this hot rod shop its full of Chevy guys and I get ragged on quite a bit for my love of ford, but this is the reason I'm contacting you I see a lot of car shows on tv and believe me when I tell you I have contacted them all for help with my car and nothing ever happens it seems you need to be in California or Texas or Detroit and I don't live in none of those places I'm in a small town in Dothan, Alabama and nothing ever happens here big nothing so I thought I'll ask for help and there's nothing wrong with that .
I need help with my 1965 Lincoln Continental I worked two years to get this car and grabbing odd jobs extra work when I could find it to pay for it thinking and trusting the word of this nice old guy that it had a good motor and transmission only to find out after it did not. I talked to Chip Foose and he said that his show was sponsored by different companies that helped with the builds of all the cars and I was just to far to make it happen. So I'm coming to you this car is the crown jewel of my life and I must turn over every stone to try to get this project off the ground so I'm asking you for help I just need a little there has to be an old motor, breaks,ac some where hanging around the company if you could find a way to help a fellow Down on his luck Ford guy I'll praise your name to my deathbed , she's a beautiful car and if I can't get this started I fear what may happen to her so if you can HELP. thanks for taking the time to read this.
You an contact me anytime day or night.
