Mr Hamrock,

Hello. My name is John. I had the wonderful opportunity to work for Columbia Gas of Pa. My orientation was August of 2014 and my employee number 128075. I started my career in Uniontown,Pa/ Pa South. I worked under the guidance of Daryl, Troy and many other outstanding employees in the organization. I had just completed my 2nd month of training when I was struck from behind in a automobile accident. I was traveling home for the weekend and was not using a company vehicle. The accident was investigated and clearly I was not at fault. As A result of the accident I was injured an unable to perform the functions of my job. I quickly and efficiently did everything in my power to place myself in the position to return better than ever. However due to insurance, Doctor visits, and finally a diagnosis, I was able to start the road to a full recovery, no limitations. However, due to Nisource policies My job had to be filled due to the nature of the business. I also was not with the company long enough to be eligible for short term/ long term disability. I understand the reasoning and have no regrets, only that I lost a career that I have tried and prepared for so long. I write this letter only to express my desire to work for Nisource/Columbia Gas and to continue to be part of such a great Company and Culture. I have since interviewed for positions within the Company and have not been selected or offered a position. I feel very confused as I lost my position thru no fault of my own, only that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was hired not to long ago as stated in the beginning and worked my tail off to not only be ready, but to be ready for all expectations that would be required to be a great representative and continue the success that is ongoing. Mr Hamrock I Thank you for this opportunity to write and explain my situation. I just refuse to give up and would welcome any and all advice. Have a great day.

Sincerely,

John
