Ray sent a message to Robin Hayes Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of JetBlue Airways Corporation Email Address that said:
Mr Hayes, I purchased flight insurance from your partner Allianz Travel Insurance for round trip flight to Las Vegas from JFK on Friday February 5th. The flight was cancelled while we were en route to JFK and we had to re route to Newark and flew United to Las Vegas in order to make a early AM meeting on Sat. The rescheduled JB flight was 7;49p Saturday and we would have missed the meeting. I had to return to Newark since my car would not be at JFK when we returned. I put in a claim with Allianz and my claim was denied. If this is not a valid claim I do not know what the purpose of this insurance would be for I view this as a deceptive offer and am very surprised JB would partner with a company who I have come to find has an unsatisfactory rating and many many reviews by your own JB customers on various consumer product rating websites who have also been denied valid claims. I would like to know if you can investigate this situation and procure me a fair resolution to this situation. This is not a company that I feel represents the corporate culture of what JB is. Unfortunate as it may be I may have to pursue this matter with the NYS AG office and Consumer Affairs offices of NYC. There is no doubt that when all the facts are presented to these two governing bodies the denial of this claim in light of the presentation of the offer of insurance when you attempt to pay at the JB website for a flight in that you are prompted and reminded that flight insurance is a wise consumer choice. I anxiously await your response to this matter.
