Mr. House, I was very impressed that a Sony representative contacted me regarding my service – Andrew House email address

Jason sent a message to Andrew House President and Group CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. that said:

Mr. House,

I was very impressed that a Sony representative contacted me regarding my service inquiry so quickly after sending an email which I thought would go unnoticed. However, I am quite upset at the inability of Sony to offer a solution.

The representative (Anna) instructed me that I would only get a refurbished unit after sending my defective unit in (not a new unit, which is what I bought from Sony). Further, I was told that there is no manufacturer defect in the PS4 (which anybody who Google's "PS4 fan noise" can see that the thermal paste used in the units is inferior and in many instances applied incorrectly).

There are also MANY horror stories of refurbished units sent back with gunk in the ports, dust and hair under the cover and cosmetic damage to the casing. I have kept my PS4 in "like new" condition, I don't smoke, I have no pets and the unit is pristine. I don't want someone else's unit that hasn't kept care of it like I have.

Sony has offered no solutions mostly because you're "Sony" and you're winning the console race and having a lot of success, I for one am back to my 360 and contemplating an XOne now.

All I want is a new replacement unit for the one that I BOUGHT NEW and expected to work.

I will be posting my CS chats and experience to every social media account that I can and any other forum that I can to make sure people are aware of the issues--additionally I will be leaving reviews on major retailers' websites to let people know of my experience.
