Maja sent a message to Edward C. Johnson, III Chairman and CEO, Fidelity Investments that said:

Mr. Johnson,

I don't want to write a long story about my past, because I am looking forward to my future. Noah, my 8 months old son, is the main reason why I decided to shoot for the moon.Me and my husband live with his parents, he has got two more children from first marriage. Now, we are both sued from our ex partners. His ex left for another and I got abused psychologicaly and financially by my ex partner . I am unemployed and no place to work at, my husband works but it's not nearly enough for all basic expences. We dream of our small home, with a garden, of a car which is not rusty and of getting up every morning without having to think how to get food, clothes and toys for the children.
My family fought for survival as long as I remember. My mom is fifty and noone wants to employ her anymore. They live from one salary, my stepdads, and now he has to go on a spine operation and only God knows will he go back to work as a police officer. I've got two younger sisters, both still in school.
I know you worked hard for everything you have got, I wish I have a job in which I could excell and give my family a nice life, but circumstances are like they are. With your help, you will not save one, but two families and secure future for next generation.
What would I do with the million? I would make a home for our children and instead of worries in my smile, there would be happiness and very important, invest in our education. I would help my family stand on their feet and secure education and life for my sisters.I would also get my degree, I am very good at english, very communicative, but unfortunatley bad luck goes on in my life since I was a child. I wish noone a life like I had and I need help in changing that.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Maja
