Richard Landau sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy email address that said:

Mr. Joly hello,
I have been a long term Best Buy Customer. I recently purchased a Samsung Tablet during the recent Presidents week. I ordered an open box version (first time ever and the last) as it was $45 cheaper. I was assured that the tablet was re-checked and everything was included. That was not the case. I could not plug in the Tablet as the wrong USB cord was in the box which was also missing any Samsung paper work and several accessories. I immediately returned the tablet to the nearest Best Buy in Lady Lake FL and that was my only option after speaking with someone at your 800 number.
The Best Buy store took the tablet back as I wanted no part of it and asked for a brand new one and was willing to pay the difference from the original sale price. Although the Best Buy mgr tried to work with me I still had to pay an additional amount of money even though Best Buy was responsible for the poor condition of the open box unit .
This is NOT the way I expect a company like Best Buy to operate. The difference between a good company and a Great company is how they deal with these type of issues.
I have copies of the original order invoice and the replacement order invoice which I would be happy to forward.
