Mr. King, First off, let me thank you for your time. I am a manager – Kelly S King email address

Paul Deitz sent a message to Kelly S. King - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BBT Corporation - Email Address that said:

Mr. King,
First off, let me thank you for your time. I am a manager at a Mountaire Farms Inc. facility located at 17269 Hwy 71N, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357. We have a BBT ATM that, for the past month or so, is inoperable more days that it works. Just yesterday a technician replaced a half dozen or more parts - the unit worked for a couple of hours and went down again. It is still down, on a Friday, before a holiday weekend. The reason this is such a big deal is we have 3,000 employees here whose wages are direct deposited into BBT accounts with the expectation that they can access their funds via the ATM in the plant. Now, of course, not all 3,000 of our folks use the ATM but a sizable number do and this is a HUGE inconvenience to them. I called the help line on the ATM and was told that the unit did not belong to BBT but to an outside contractor. My reply to the CS representative was I dont care who owns it, it has BBTs name on it. I was then told someone will get back to me in 3-5 business days..... We use a term Operationally Excellent to describe how we strive to run our business. This situation is the antithesis of Operationally Excellent. Please let me know how this issue can be resolved. Thank you and have a great 4TH.
