Ronny Cunningham sent a message to John B. Koch, Chief Executive Officer and President, PODS Enterprises, Inc. - email address that said:
Mr. Koch, I thought you should know how your company is ripping senior citizens off. I ask for a quote for storage for one month and deliver of my POD from Arkansas to Georgia. The quote for the transport was $1034.00 along with the storage fee I accepted the quote and the pod was delivered and picked up. I was under the impression that a contract was based on an offer and acceptance. When it came time to deliver my pod the price was changed to $1749.00, and additional cost to deliver it to my home of $234.00. So my cost was twice the original quote and acceptance. Not counting the damage of personal property. It is my intent to file a complaint with the Attorney General of both states , the Better Business Bureau, yelp and any other social media site. People need to know how this company treats its customers. Had I known the price was going to go up 100 percent I could have used another company.
