Mr. Lambert, I recently returned a push lawn mower that would not start. This mower – Edward Lampert email address

Christopher Payne sent a message to Edward Lampert - Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings - Email Address that said:

Mr. Lambert,

I recently returned a push lawn mower that would not start. This mower is less than a year old and I also purchased the extended warranty, which is valid until June 2018. After the mower was checked, they said I was responsible for the repairs of 107 dollars. They stated debris in the carburetor, which is total nonsense. I winterized the mower by running the gas totally out so as to NOT gum up the carburetor. This is the same thing I have done for years with ALL the other mowers I have bought at Sears with no issues. This mower was bought at the Gadsden, Alabama store. I have been a very loyal Sears customer for 25 years, buying everything from mowers, tools, clothes, mattresses. But I will say I just paid off my Sears credit card and will be closing the account and will not continue to shop at Sears if this sitatuon does not get the attention it deserves. I feel I should at least more than one season of mowing from a brand new push mower. Thanks for any help that you can provide. My number is 256-295-3066.

Thanks
Chris Payne
