JAMES sent a message to Edward Lampert – Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings – Email Address that said:

Mr LAMPERT I purchased a washer and dryer in Jan 2014 and the extended warranty and for the past three months I have called the service dept because the dryer quit working. The service man takes the dryer apart test different parts then checks the thermal fuse which is blown and replaces it. This is the 3d month in a row that this same problem . The service tech said that the thermal fuse that is used is obsolete. Why are we using obsolete items that we know will go bad? This is the 2nd item that I have to replace. the first was a freezer because there was no installation in the door, SEARS replaced this item after the 4th service call. All of the appliances in our home are sears as well as our lawn mowers and tools. The only reason we updated the washer an dryer is we gave our son an his wife our 20 pluss yr old ones which are sears items and they are still using them and here we are with a sad dryer. will you please authorize sears to replace this dryer ? We have been a sears customer for over 50 yrs. and I served 30 yrs active service all over and used sears even while overseas with my familey. Thank you for your time in this matter.
