Mr McMillon,
I am writing this after failing to get a response from your feedback department. I had an incident at your store in North Augusta (Edgefield Road) South Carolina. with one of your managers. She was a bully, first of all I have complained to the grocery manager and store manager over ten times about the lack of Sam's Choice colas inventory for the weekend. it seems there is always a severe shortage and usually by Sunday night there are NONE on the shelf, no cola, diet cola, none of the Sam's Choice brands, no 24pk, 2 liters, 6 packs, 12 packs NONE. you can't sell what isn't available, I realize you have a computer program that automatically reorders at a certain inventory level,. obviously it is set too low (this issue is at ALL the store in our area) but if no one ever tells, how do you know to fix it? the grocery manager HAS to see the lack of inventory. and yet no one has taken the initiative to try to get it fixed. HOWEVER that is the start of the problem. when I went to purchase drinks for the little league team picnic there were no sam's colas, only a few (like two ) diet and basically the entire inventory minus a some diet 12 packs on an end cap )which manybe numbered FOUR). was it, Kids don't drink Diet,. could be a reason they were left is people going away from diet, however when I approached the manger she IMMEDIATELY got an attitude insisted I walk back to the drinks with her to "show her myself" then proceeded to get on the floor to pull out the TWO Diet Sams 12 packs that were available and show me the one root beer 12 pack, told me that they had drinks and I shouldn't complain 'its just a coke"
when I said its not about it being a coke its about an ongoing inventory issue, she made me leave the store, while she continued to berate and embarass me in front of customers, I left angry and in tears,. I IMMEDATLY sent feedback and to this date it has been ignored. THIS is NOT acceptable in any way shape or fashion, this manger should be terminated, she has no business working with the public if this is how she treats people wanting to spend money in your stores! the appropriate response would have been to say "I"m sorry you keep having this issue, I see that we are out of most of our inventory I will speak to .... to see if we can fix it". did I get any of that, NO I got blamed for complaining about a Coke! if she can't see its more than the product then she can't mange people.
