Donna Stuber sent a message to Rodney McMullen - Chief Executive Officer of The Kroger Co. email address that said:
Mr. McMullen
Good evening sir, I want to start by thanking you for your time in reading this email.
I am writing to you ,because as a mother to a bride to be (in three weeks ) who is saddened by the fact that her engagement ring cant be worn . Here is the situation , My future son in law purchased her ring last year at Littman Jewelers location in Amherst NY. Since then the store closed and relocated over an hour away ,they now have to travel, with a great expense to two young people trying to get by, to that location and try and have the item they purchased repaired in time for the wedding. In the mean time my daughter is devastated that she cant wear her ring . After the ring is repaired they will have to once again travel to that location to pick it up (hopefully in time).
I am in awe of the fact that they made a very important purchase and have to go through such turmoil, the guarantee of satisfaction is in question here and I would only hope that for all they are going to endure that someone would recognize the value of this purchase in the eyes of these two young ones and accommodate them . She is seeing her father and I go through a divorce after28 years of marriage I pray that she will start hers with joyfulness ,again I thank you for your time
