Mr. Meyers,I terminated my SiriusXM subscription today due to an offensive rant by one – James Meyer email address

Joe  sent a message to James E. Meyer CEO, Sirius XM Radio Inc. that said:

Mr. Meyers,

I terminated my SiriusXM subscription today due to an offensive rant by one of your DJ. On my way home from work, I was listening to SiriusXMU on or about 6:44pm CST, when the DJ went on a rant about celebrating gay marriage. Due to the offensive nature of this type of ideology and comments of this DJ, I immediately call to cancel by subscription. I understand that I have a choice to tune out these channels, however music channels should be for music and not for political speak. There are channels for this type of ideology and commentary.

During my conversation with the Customer Care Representatives, they tried hard to retain me as a SiriusXM customer, however they could not provide assurances that appropriate action would be taken. I stated to the Customer Care Representatives that the company's diversity policy would be invoked and no action would be taken. Since you cannot do anything about this matter, you have lost a valued customer for life. I will express my negative SiriusXM experience with anyone that will listen.
