It is hard to start a letter like this……
My name is Roman, i am 41 years old and I come from Poland. I emigrated to United Kingdom in 2013. I would like to live here permanently and work in my dream job. My dream is to become a pilot (zakup mieszkania to nie marzenie... to cel). Unfortunately i am unable to get a loan from the bank that is why I am writing this letter. I wanted to ask You for a loan with guarantee that I am going to pay it back. I’m just asking for help in making my dreams come true.
When I was living in Poland I had my own business, unfortunately, the economic crisis forced me to close it down. Before I knew that was going to happen I worked and fulfilled my dreams and goals to become a pilot. I finished touristic pilot course but, because of the crisis and closing down my business I was not able to continue the training. I was looking for different ways of earning money for that purpose but though situation in Poland forced me to make a decision and leave the country.
As i said, I have been in UK for almost 3 years now and I have been working as a class II lorry driver. Coming do England I had a plan to earn money and finish the pilot training. I used all the money I had to pay off the debts I took to save my business. I stashed some of it still thinking about flying. Currently I am living in Bognor Regis with my girlfriend and her daughter. We are frugal and save money to buy a flat but it’s a long-lasting plan because both of us are working through agencies and we have no possibilities to get a loan. We are renting two bedroom flat. I had to push my dreams aside because of my family but deep down I am feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. It’s a big struggle to be doing something You do not put Your heart into. I often pass by the airports and it makes me sad seeing those taking off planes. Time flies by inexorably and I can feel my destiny slipping by and getting away from me.
If it’s possible, please help me out. By finishing this course I will be able to pay it back completely in monthly installments. I can sign any necessary documents.
