Huliette sent a message to James J. Murren – Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International – Email Address that said:
Mr. Murren,
I am a long time patron of MGM properties.
I originally started with my husband visiting Vegas in the 90s, because I always felt safe protected.
I am now a widow and I continue to visit MGM properties for the same reason. A single lady traveling alone security the feeling that management is always available to assist in any emergency.
I stayed at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi in April. On April 7th as I was exiting the elevator area of the hotel, my shoe caught on the edge of the carpet causing me to fall. Security was there immediately, very professional helpful. I was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where it was determined I had broken my left arm in 3 places.
I kept expecting the resort to contact me to check on my injuries, or see if they could assist me in any way; but sadly this never happened.
On May 16th I spoke with Mandy Beard Senior Claims Representative, who stated I should have requested an incident report number before I left the resort. She also stated the hotel could not check on everyone that had an incident, because there were to many claims. I find this to be highly disturbing. The hospital was considerate enough to check on me twice after I left there.
Having retired from a bank as a VP over a credit card division customer service department, I found the customer service in this area of your operation to be very unsatisfactory.
If you would like any other information concerning this please contact me.
