I am representing Fort Alexander (Sagkeeng) and we are an indigenous first nation in a reservation in Canada. In 1999 we had meetings with MGM/Grand representative Art Greenburgh about the possibility of bringing an MGM/Grand casino to our territory. We as a First Nation would like a chance to explore that possibility once again. in our neighborhood we have riverfront, beach front and lakefront properties as well as all year round amenities that have great potential. We are constant visitors of MGM/Grand in mille lacs, Minnesota and admire the advantages created for our people across the border. Please excuse the informal way of reaching you.
