Dr. Elliott sent a message to Christopher J. Nassetta – President and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Worldwide – Email Address that said:
Mr. Nassetta,
PLEASE HELP! My husband and I were staying at the Hilton Atlanta on business. We checked out yesterday and after arriving at our current hotel, I realized that I left my mini travel bag on the desk in room 2611. Inside the bag are some important documents that I need and my checkbook. Those documents are important as I am a heart patient. While I have contacted the hotel several times, beginning yesterday with several promises (e.g. ...will call back in twenty minutes; security will call after rounds are made; ....) I have been unable to get someone to adequately respond. Additionally, I have been unable to speak with the hotel manager who seems to be under lock and key. This behavior is not the behavior that I have come to associate with your brand. After calling back several times yesterday evening, at 1:30 a.m. today I was told that the lost and found box has not been opened and there was no indication when it would be opened. Today I am being told that I need to wait 72 hours by a Hilton online representative, Lindsey. Although I keep reiterating that I am a heart patient and need the items in the mini travel bag, I keep receiving the same response. This is unbelievable and again not what I expect from the Hilton brand. If there is any way that you or a representative could intervene, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
