Mr. Penske,
How is it possible that Penske wins awards for being military friendly when they are openly refusing to pay any type of shift differential to an ARNG soldier employed in NKY? Apparently, they paid her for nine months drill and AT, but in March a manager suddenly refused after calling her a liar in front of the entire shop.
Is this the way Penske treats American patriots who enlist at the age of 17? How does Penske allow their managers to ‘cherry pick’ corporate policy and apply at their leisure (i.e. smoking breaks, cell phone usage, military differential, etc.)? Worse, these managers location can’t even follow the law with regard to drill notice and harass this Specialist every month by demanding notices from her SGT’s which are never good enough.
I call this open discrimination against a member of our military. I’m not sure if it is due to her being a female union member or because Penske is just truly anti-military.
A recent union vote was supposedly set to change some of this. Funny. They somehow managed to vote while she was at DRILL and now she is supposed to put up and shut up for the next three years.
FOR SHAME PENSKE! I respectfully request you correct this injustice to not only this young woman, but any other Penske employee who is a member of our military. If not, then please remove Penske from all military friendly lists.
