Sheena sent a message to Robin Hayes – Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of JetBlue Airways Corporation – Email Address that said:
Mr. Robin Hayes,
I don't know if this will reach you directly, but it's worth a shot. Hello, my name is Sheena . I'm 22 years old and I have passion for customer service. I was offered a position to work with your company not to long ago and had the pleasure of meeting you in Orlando for oreintation. The love I have for Jetblue is so powerful that a long wait to finally work for the company was well worth it. That's right I waited a year to finally get my foot threw the door. I finally had the chance to do something I know I would love doing. I had a shot at being a AO crew member. Unfortunately that love was taken away from me this past Friday. No one is to blame but myself. I choked on my test. Twice! And my dream job just slipped right between my hands. It hurt so bad. My uniform came in that day and I was the only one that wasn't able to leave with my box. I had to turn in my badge and that broke my heart even more. I met 4 amazing girls along the way and they all stayed with me as I cried. I cry every single day. Even when I see a Jetblue commercial I break down in tears. The funny thing is I knew the answers but I just don't know what happened. I'm devistated. I can't believe I actually let people's words control my actions. I was told that I was nothing and will never be anything all my life. I let those words take over my life. I'm mad at myself. My graduation was supposed to be this Wednesday April 20th. I can't even express to you the pain I feel. I know there isn't anything I can do, but I thought I would give it a shot and email you. I picked the button PASSION in Orlando. There's a saying in Haitian Creole, and it says if you can't do something with your whole heart then don't do it at all. I applied to JetBlue with my whole heart and waited that year and kept in contact with my recruiter because I loved this company so much. I wanted to assist customers with my whole heart because that's what I love doing. I know you can't bend the rules for everybody but please I beg of you! Please consider it. I don't know how many people can fail and still not give up. I refuse to give up Sir. If I have to take all my past exams and the ones I missed, I'll do it. That's how passionate I am about this job!! On another note , I just want to say I love the work you've done in maintaining this company. I love this company as a whole in general. Thank you for giving me this oppturnity anyways even though it was cut short. I am still thankful and blessed! I wish this company nothing but the best and I will still be q faithful customer because JetBlue is the best! Thank you!
Sincerely
Sheena
