Dear Mr. Rogers,
I represent Katherine Moore. She lost her home to foreclosure in 2009 after years of trying to negotiate a refinance. Her letter to Mr. Wells is enclosed and will explain her actions over a course of several days.
A subsequent bankruptcy ordered that a lien on the residence be voided in favor of Ms Moore having access to the North Carolina Homestead Act. The court order is attached. Unfortunately, the lien was honored in contravention of the court order and the homestead exemption was denied.
Ms Moore contends that she was one of the complainants who contacted the Justice Department, but the firm handling your claims indicated that she was not found in the database.
Ms. Moore needs a claim form, as well as, consideration of her homestead exemption.
Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.
With warmest regards, I am
Sincerely,
Ira
