William sent a message to Stephen H. Rusckowski – President and Chief Executive Officer of Quest Diagnostics – Email Address that said:

Mr. Rusckowski,
I am a stage four cancer patient that traveled from Houston, Texas to Kinner, La. for an appointment with a specialist in the Ochsner Medical Center located at 180 W. Esplanade Ave this past Monday, May 30, 2016. I received a schedule from my doctor via e-mail which started with blood work at 0700 am. Arriving at the hospital, in a strange place, scared, in pain and looking for help I found Quest Diagnostics in the Ochsner Hospital hoping that this was where I was to began with my blood tests. I was in hopes that I would find a kind face and helping hand from the people at the quest Lab, but instead I was treated with what appeared to be angry faces from two women at the desk with stern demand for my orders from my doctor. They continued to lecture me as if I had broken some rule for not immediately providing them with the information. Before I could find the orders I was so distraught with their rude and hostile actions that my wife and I turn away and left the Quest Office. I located another lab and had my blood drawn there. A little Customer Service training I am sure would help these two employees. I only regret that I can't provide their names but my wife and I were so shaken I just wanted to remove myself from the room. I wish them no ill treatment, but hope they will be helped to understand how very sick patients could be comforted with a smile and kind greeting. Thank you for listening to my concerns.
