Mr. Rutledge,
I'm writing to you because I'm trying to get Charter cable service at a new house I just build at Burke Mountain ski resort in VT. Charter services the area but I cannot get anyone to look into connecting the house due to the nearest service location being 4000 feet away. The issue is the coax runs directly in front of my house and was at one time servicing my neighbor. The Charter sales people tell me that the system will not allow a site survey due to the distance. I'm also told if I drive 2 hours each way to the Barry store they may be able to override the system. I tried calling the store and I go back to the same sales people. Anyway, is there anything you can do to have this looked at? I'm building three more houses behind this one and need TV and internet. when I checked around, many of my neighbors want charter service also and have run into the same issues I'm seeing. This type of situation must be hurting your business especially with the cables running past the people that want your service.
Regards,
Glenn
