Barbara sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Mr.Rutledge, suggest you review the most recent difficulty i have had in the handling of my Charter account.
My return - with full receipt of a black box 11 months ago was not noted on my bill and for 11 months Charter has charged me $6.99 a month for returned equipment.
But when I called and tried to correct it with billing department - providing receipt number time and date as well as willingness to scan and send receipt - I was met with amazing run around that cost me entire morning. The two employees were amazingly under trained or limited intelligence.in customer relations and clearly had only one thought- find the equipment.
Finally I was told by Ken that I would get a courtesy refund for 2 months but not the full 11 months until Charter finds the equipment they lost AFTER I returned it and have a receipt for that return.
This is unacceptable customer service and even worse was the frequent mention of the possibility that I am not being truthful because you cant find it.
