I live in Wellsville, New York and use Charter/Spectrum phone, internet and cable services. Today I received a call from my neighbor stating that they received a call with my name and phone number coming up on the caller ID - the person that they spoke with said that they were calling to sell insurance to them. This call was not made by me - I am a retired social worker from the Salvation Army and do not sell insurance. The neighbor hung up on this person and called me to advise me of the call. I called Spectrum support and was advised that there was nothing that could be done about the spam calls. This is unacceptable and frightening to both me and my wife. Our security and safety, not to mention phone number and perhaps financial security has been compromised. I wanted to let you know my concerns and fears - what is Charter Spectrum going to do about this?
