Mr. Schulum I am writing to you because your organization does not seem to have the ability to handle very simple problems. Briefly my problem is an oversee's person was able to hack my account and transfer $1000 from my checking account into my PayPal account. I assume they intended to transfer that money to their account. PayPal notified me that my password had been changed and the transfer made to my account. I was able to change my password and felt I was safe and could transfer the money back to my checking account after the bank made the transfer. After the money was transfered from my checking account to my PayPal account I found I could not access my account to transfer the money back to my bank account. I have spent hours on the phone ( mostly on hold) trying to get this resolved. One of your supervisors told me the only thing that he could do was freeze my account and recommended I file a fraud claim with my bank to recover the funds. I have done that and hope the bank can recover my funds from PayPal. I have had a PayPal account for 14 years and never had a problem. This has been a very frustrating experience trying to deal with your organization to resolve this. As of today the status is my payPal account is frozen with an account balance of $1000 and my bank has filed a fraud complaint against PayPal. I want my money transferred back to my bank and I want to cancel my PayPal account. I have 0 faith in your organizations ability to protect my account or resolve a problem once it occurs. I would be most appreciative of any help you can provide me to get this resolved.
