Mr. Smith, I just wanted to let you know about the email that I – O Bruton Smith email address

Mike sent a message to O. Bruton Smith – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sonic Automotive – Email Address that said:

Mr. Smith,

I just wanted to let you know about the email that I sent to one of your underlings, Johnny, General Manager at Lone Star Chevrolet.

"Johnnie,

Hello, my name is Mike. The past 3 days I have been dealing with Sid in your used car lot. He's a great guy and very personable and very thorough. The reason why I'm emailing you isn't because of him, it's because YOU have allowed a very misleading ad to be shown which states the car in the subject line is certified, comes with both the factory top (yellow) and a glass top as well. It also says the car has dual mode exhaust. All of that is completely wrong and VERY, VERY misleading. None of the items that I've mentioned are anywhere near the vehicle. I had already gotten pre-approved for the purchase and physically transferred funds from bank to bank for the down payment.
I'm officially giving you 2 days to correct the add or I'm going to write an official complaint on every auto website relating to auto purchasing in the greater Houston area including BBB. Copy and paste is so very easy these days. Obviously this is what happened in the ad and the person who constructed the ad was too freaking lazy to do their job correctly.Unfortunately for you, you're the one who is held accountable and has to take my shit. It always starts at the top!

Thanks in advance,

Mike"

Have a nice weekend,

Mike
