John sent a message to Roland C. Smith Chairman and CEO, Office Depot, Inc. – email address that said:
Mr. Smith, sir I was and employee of store 6807 in San Angelo, Texas. I had worked there a little over a month. A family issue came up and I went to your manger's of store 6807 and explained my issue. They gave me two weeks leave with out question. My issue is going to take longer than anyone expected. I again talk to store 6807 mangers and gave my resignation, because I do not know how long this issue will take. I was told when my issues were resolved. That I could reapply and they would do everything they could to hire me. Sir I have never been treated so kindly in my entire life. So I am asking you to thank store 6807 and tell them how good they are. I was told when I hired out to Home Depot that was just the way yawl treated your employees and to tell you the truth I did not really believe it. Well I was wrong and I want to thank Home Depot from the top management to the store management. I have told everyone I can think of and or meet just how nice and well I was treated.
I really hope you do recognize store 6807. Thank you for your time. I promise when I get this issue taken care of. That I will re apply at store 6807 .
