I am 25 years old, and a life long resident of Monessen, PA, a small city, south of Pittsburgh. I had an idea for a project within the city, and Dick's Sporting Goods was the first entity I thought of. I'm hoping that you can either help me, or give me some direction.
There is a vacant building in Monessen, that is newer, and in decent shape. It housed the former Valley Independent, which was a newspaper of Trib Total Media. Monessen is a very sports-loving town, as is the Mon Valley and Pittsburgh regions.
The Mon Valley Sports Hall of Fame is filled with legends such as Stan Musial and Eric Crabtree. The hall of fame doesn't have a physical building. As a proud resident of Monessen, I think this would be a unique project to make happen. Could you point me in the right direction to possibly find a sponsor or grantor for a project such as this?
