I hope that my email finds you well, I apologise for comming directly to yourself but I am totally frustrated with your online customer service.
My name is Michelle Hickey and I am a member of Australia Costco since August 2011. I'm travelling to Las Vegas and Hawaii this November to celebrate my 50th birthday. On Sunday September 5 I made a purchase from Costco online the site would not accept my Australian address so I used my address when I'm n America they also would not accept my Australin membership number and charged me $25 for being a non member. My credit card was debited for Australian $713.61. On Monday 6 September I recieved an email advising that my order had been cancelled as my credit card details were unable to b verified. I used the online customer service line to ask why? Since I have gone back and forward without any help at all. Yesterday I requested that my request be escalated to a manager, however it was not the same person Janelle A simply responded .

What I am being told
(1) I can use my Australian membership card anywhere in the world except on line ( yep on the World Wide Web) ???
(2) my Australian credit card details cannot be verified on the World Wide Web?? Even though I would use the same credit card in store.

Now on the same day as I attempted to make this purchase I made 3 other purchases from the USA including dresses ( which need to be shipped to Australia) tickets to an American football game on Saturday 12 November , and a discount Restarunt card from 3 different sites - none of these sites required me to pay to become a member, they all accepted my Australian address and my Australin credit card.
Not one of the responses from your customer service team have provided a solution and an ants we as to why as a member I cannot make a purchase on line from you.

Please can you assist??
