Bobby sent a message to Kelcy Warren – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Energy Transfer Partners, L. P. Email Address that said:
Mr. Warren if I may i have a few things weighing on my heart which I can't seem to shake. I am a fellow Texan my self born in Port Arthur Texas in 1987. Throughout all my years of growing up my folks always told me that as a Texan we must hold our selves to a certain standard in everyday life. The standards in which I come accustomed of living by are most notable at work. I work as a trim carpenter 60 plus hrs a week alone everyday go home alone everyday but hell my life is pretty good. My only concern pertains to the private security for the Dakota pipeline. Everyone must have seen the pipeline was coming I mean hell we've been drilling up there like scalded dogs and that oil needs a place to go. However the use of dogs on Americans on American soil is absolutley absurd. It is a felony charge here in Tx if your dog is to bite and injure another individual. If you and I both seem to hold ourselves to a standard far above most of the country how can you allow this to happen. I will not sit here and degrade a man who has built a multi billion dollar business and actually I pray that you and your family live remarkably long and beautiful lives but for the sake of being moral please ban the guards that your company has hired from being able to use dogs as any sort of weapon. Thank you for your time Mr. Warren.
