I live in Yuma, AZ and I am very frustrated at the lack of clothes in the Woman’s Department at this location. While at your store on 11/08/2016 I spoke with several of the staff members and voiced my concern. Your staff were extremely courteous and very helpful in getting me the information I was requesting. However, many apologies were made and they advised that there wasn’t anything they could do. Today I called the store and spoke with Laura the Assistant Store Manager, who herself is a plus size woman and has the same issue of lack of clothes available in her size. She herself has difficulty finding clothes in her own store to wear. Which doesn’t make sense to me…
Although our area may seem rural to your company our population is roughly 201,000 then doubles from November through April. The number of woman in this county between size 14+ out-number those ladies in sizes 12-. I worked hard to go from a size 24-26 to a 16-18 and am very frustrated at the lack of clothing available. I am still wearing clothes that are way too big because of lack of availability of clothing here in our community. Your company promotes diversity; well I feel like I am being discriminated against because of my size. You promote clothing and styles for everyone, yet woman of size in our community only have a small selection to choose from (half a rack ranging from 1X-3X, 14-24), and having to turn to other store such as Walmart or the Goodwill and I’m sorry no offense against Walmart or the Goodwill but I do not want to buy my clothes from Walmart or Goodwill, do you???
We have a Lane Bryant here, but unfortunately I can’t afford their prices, and neither can most of the people in this community. I have visited this location many times and am told to check back in a few days to see if anything comes in, but nothing ever does. I am 45 years old and most of the things I am finding are either for young woman or much older. I even tried to purchase undergarments from your store, but was only able to find 1 set of panties and I would have purchased multiple pairs of these however, there was only 1 available the rest were granny panties, btw my grandmother wouldn’t even wear them…
Please do something to fix this issue. I would be glad to speak to anyone; I am tired of being quiet and I feel that this is unfair.
