Bernie O'Hara sent a message to Mary Barra that said:
Does the punishment from Chevrolet, NASCAR, and Ganassi Racing fit Larsonâs crime? In the small sample of Microsoftâs open poll the answer in no. I too agree his punishment far exceeds what should take place. Was he wrong to have used the âNâ word? Obviously. Does two wrongs make for a right? No!
Go back and punish Larson for his mistake and this time make the punishment fit his crime. Will all three, Chevrolet, NASCAR, Ganassi, be fair? NO!!! They are too âWOKEâ for there own good. Social justice is a concept of fair and just relations. The punishment from Chevrolet, NASCAR, and Ganassi Racing is neither fair nor just. Unfair practices for the use of the âNâ word are being carried out. At what point will a person be brought to the Town Square for execution by firing squad for the use of the âNâ word?.
Did Larsonâs use of the word constitute a âHate Crime?â. Federal Department of Justice, â In the simplest terms, a hate crime must include both âhateâ and a âcrimeâ. Larsonâs only crime was being stupid.
Frankly, what goes around comes around. Chevrolet, NASCAR, and Ganassi Racing will be judged as they have judged.
