I am a GM employee and my Brother just used my employee discount to buy his first Chevy truck. ( He had usually bought Ford trucks. ) BUT.. the trucks tailgate is not level with the bed when lowered ( the cable on one side goes tight while other side is still slack. They were supposed to have fixed it before he took delivery. they did not.. and they have no idea how. turns out this model is made in Mexico , and it seems about all the trucks made there have this issue. He wishes to contact you directly to send you copies of his correspondences with all the pertinent parties. and pictures showing the issue etc.
