My 11 year old Harley with only 100 miles on it...
Only 100 miles on my Harley wide glide. the Baltimore Harley Davidson store had my bike for 10 years. call me last fall and told me that they could not fix it. if I did not pick it up it would be junked.
I had to take it and the dam thing spits and sputter.
then quits running while I am on the highway (RT 95 Maryland) I have to pull over on the side of the road in order to restart it.
the fuel gage is intermitted.
the brake pedal is so high that I have to take my foot off the peg to hit the brake.
the speed odometer is reading 15 miles an hour sitting still.
they told me that could not be fixed. Its a same that Harley Davidson of Baltimore had my bike for 10 years and could not fix it.
I spent over 30 thousand dollars with that store in 2005 for the bike including parts and all the accessories and chrome.
I still have all the print out recipes from 2005 in my filing cabinet.
Its a good looking bike.
It just don't run.
only 100 miles on my 30 thousand dollar bike and its not drivable and not safe, this bike could kill some one.
So what do I do with it just let it sit.
Went to the dealer today ( July 9 2016 ) and the shop knew me and they remember the bike that i had to pick up last fall. that said they can fix it but it will cost me.???? What??? after 10 years now they said they could fix it.
the bike information is: 1995 wide glide
is any one listing ???
I don't think any one cares, as long as they have my money.
John
PS this is a death trap. no one can ride this bike safely.
