My husband and I have been account holders at Suntrust Bank for 30 years. We – William Rogers email address

MaryJane Peed sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. CEO, SunTrust Banks, Inc. - email address that said:

My husband and I have been account holders at Suntrust Bank for 30 years.
We recently experienced a property damage claim with our home owners insurance due to hurricane Irma. Insurance sent us a check promptly repairs to start, which were done. The check was made out to my husband and I and the Suntrust Bank, because we have an access 3 account secured by our home. We have no mortgage on this property, there was enough in our savings account to cover what was owed on the access 3 until we had to write a check on it to pay the contractors for our home repairs. Suntrust has our insurance check, which was supposed to be deposited into our account. As of this date, October 12th, we have no idea where this money is, cannot get in touch with anyone to find out what is being done. Meanwhile Suntrust has our money, probably making money on it and we are now forced to pay Suntrust interest on the money we had to borrow to cover replacement cost on our home. You have no idea how frustrating this is.

We need someone with some power, not a branch manager as they have been little to no help, to contact us and get this matter resolved immediately. If this Email does not help to resolve this situation we are going to be forced to consult our attorney.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Respectfully,
Mary Jane Peed
